Lazy Genius Update (Current)

Headline Changes

New Style: Lazy Genius — a trap/fake/mind-games Style built around aerial control and bait-and-punish loops.
Overtime rework — pacing, stamina drain and golden-goal rules adjusted to reduce stall play.
Stamina balancing — base stamina pool widened, sprint regen rebalanced across all Styles.
Card Packs — new pack-opening cosmetic and ability-shard system.
Gifting system — players can now gift packs and cosmetics to friends.
New map — Lazy Genius Stadium, with tighter wings that reward rainbow-flick play.

Lazy Genius Style — Deep Dive

Lazy Genius is a high-skill Style for players who win on reads and timing rather than raw speed. Its kit:

Trap Loop — bait a defender into a slide tackle, immediately counter into open space.
Fake Cancel — start a pass, cancel mid-animation to break reads.
Aerial Control — extended hangtime on flicks and headers.
Flow: Read & Punish — slight input-delay on nearby opponents for 4s.

Overtime Changes

Overtime stamina drain increased ~15% — sprinting carelessly punishes you.
Sudden-death window starts earlier if the score is still tied.
Defensive last-touches reset more aggressively to prevent boot-out stalls.

Quality of Life & Fixes

Card pack UI added with rarity tiers.
Gifting flow live in the friends menu.
Several tackle desync fixes.
Improved camera smoothing during dribble bursts.
Mobile button layout customisation expanded.

Meta Implications
