Soccer Zero Controls, Combos & Mechanics
Every keybind, every action, and the input combos pros actually use on the pitch.
PC Controls (Default Keybinds)

| Kick / Shoot | Hold LMB | Charge a shot. Hold longer for power and range. Release to fire. |
| Pass | RMB | Pass to the nearest teammate in your facing direction. |
| Long Pass | Hold RMB | Charged pass — lofted ball over distance. Used for through-balls. |
| Dribble | Q (with ball) | Quick burst past a defender. Brief invuln window. Drains stamina. |
| Dive | Q (no ball) | Goalkeeper / defensive dive. Use in the box to deny shots. |
| Slide Tackle | E | Slide to steal the ball. Whiffs leave you stunned briefly. |
| Rainbow Flick | Space (with ball) | Flick the ball over a defender. Best near sideline or in tight pressure. |
| Header | Space (no ball) | Jump to head an incoming cross or rebound. |
| Sprint | Shift | Run faster. Burns stamina — manage carefully. |
| Request Ball | F | Ping teammates to pass to you. |
| Activate Flow | R | Pop your Style's Flow state when the meter is full. |

Mobile Controls
Mobile uses on-screen buttons that mirror the PC layout: virtual joystick for movement on the left, an action-button cluster (Kick, Pass, Dribble, Tackle, Flick, Flow) on the right, and a sprint toggle. The layout is fully customisable in Settings → Controls — resize, reposition, and toggle haptics.
Mobile-specific tips:
- Enable auto-sprint when stamina is over 50% — frees a finger.
- Use tap-to-aim if your thumb keeps misfiring shots.
- Shrink the kick button and enlarge the dribble button — most goals come from clean dribble breaks.
Xbox / Controller
Xbox uses native Roblox controller bindings: RT kick, LT pass, A dribble / dive, B tackle, X flick / header, Y Flow, LB sprint, RB request ball.
Combos & Advanced Inputs
Charge Cancel
Hold LMB to bait a tackle, then tap RMB to instantly pass. The defender commits — you reset the play.
Pass-Dribble Feint
RMB tap immediately into Q breaks defensive reads. Genius and Lazy Genius mains use this on loop.
Slide Timing
Slide when an opponent's dribble animation starts — not when they're already past you.
Flick + Sprint
Rainbow flick into Shift sprint clears defenders on the wing — best escape tool in the game.
Through-Ball Setup
Hold RMB for a long pass, aim slightly ahead of a sprinting teammate. Works best with Genius.
Flow Pop Timing
Activate Flow (R) just before entering the final third — don't waste it walking up the pitch.
Body Block
Stand still in the dribble lane. No slide whiff, no stun, just a clean stop. Underrated by new players.
Trap Loop
Hold the ball still, bait a slide, dribble out the moment they commit. Lazy Genius bread-and-butter.
Stamina Mechanics
Every action costs stamina. Knowing the cost-per-action separates plat from diamond:
- Sprint — drains continuously while held.
- Dribble (Q) — fixed chunk per use; rapid chains tank stamina.
- Slide Tackle (E) — moderate cost, plus recovery animation.
- Charged Kick — small drain per second held.
- Flow — refunds some stamina and boosts regen for its duration.
Stamina regenerates fastest when you're walking, not standing still. Counter-intuitive, but it's how the game is tuned.
